The Financial Services Authority (FSA) added a number of new companies to its list of unauthorised firms and individuals this week.
 
The list of unauthorised firms or people, included:

GFM Markets
Global Financial Markets
 
A raft of firms were added to the regulator’s list of unauthorised overseas companies, including:
 
First Global UK
M Investimentos
Fusion Financial Marketing
Sigma Securities
Sigma Asset Management
Inter Europe Trading aka Inter-Euro Trading Corporation
Mercator Associates
gdif.net
Inter-Euro Trading
VectorVest
 
According to the FSA, although not all fundraising activities require authorisation or approval, investors who have given money or are considering giving money should exercise caution and will not benefit from UK compensation or complaint schemes.
