FOLK2FOLK, the Peer-2-Peer lending platform, today announced the resignation of Chief Executive Officer Jane Dumeresque, who will leave her post during September.
The firm has offered no further comment for her resignation.
Dumeresque joined FOLK2FOLK as CEO in 2015 and has overseen a period of successful growth and development for the business, the company said. This includes opening new regional offices in Yorkshire, Somerset and the Three Counties, building further representation in Cumbria, Dorset, Cheshire and East Anglia and growing the platforms cumulative loan book from £30 mln to over £170 mln during her tenure.
FOLK2FOLK said it will announce further expansion into the Thames Valley area in quarter four of this year.
During Dumeresque’s time as CEO, FOLK2FOLK also gained FCA authorisation, joined the P2PFA and launched a series of new products, including an IFISA.
Chairman of FOLK2FOLK Tim Sawyer said: “Jane has brought us a long way in a short period of time. The culture and legacy she has created will stay with us in the years to come. We wish her well for the future.”
An announcement regarding Jane Dumeresque’s replacement will be made in due course, the firm said; in the interim period, Tim Sawyer will assume the role of executive chairman.
