European equities boutique Argonaut Capital has announced the launch of its European Absolute Return Fund.
The fund aims to achieve positive returns regardless of market conditions through investing in a combination of long and short equity positions and a variety of asset classes.
This product is suitable for experienced investors looking for enhanced absolute returns and who can afford to set aside their capital for at least five years.
Barry Norris, manager of the fund, says, ‘Our research consistently reveals opportunities to make positive returns from companies with negative structural, pricing or balance sheet anomalies that have gone unnoticed by the broader market. UCITS III allows us to utilise this research to blend high-conviction long and short investment ideas to achieve positive returns regardless of market conditions.
‘The demand for positive absolute returns has never been greater, and we are confident that our strategy will fulfil this essential requirement and provide reassurance for investors over the course of a full market cycle.’
The fund has an initial charge of 5.25 per cent and an annual management fee of 1.5 per cent. For more information, visit www.ignisasset.com
