Axa Framlington to enhance equities team

Axa Investment Managers has confirmed that small cap investment specialist Dan Harlow is to join the Axa Framlington UK equities team from 22 February 2010.
Harlow has both closed and open-ended fund experience and joins from Montanaro Asset Management where has been a director on the board as well as managing the Montanaro UK Smaller Companies Investment Trust.
Mark Beveridge, global head of Axa Framlington said Harlow has had direct responsibility for managing the portfolios of a number of segregated mandates, which will stand him in good stead for the role.
He explained, ‘Dan’s appointment is a strong indication of our commitment and intention to grow our UK smaller companies frnachise within Axa Framlington’s highly experienced UK equities team.’
Harlow will report to Mark Beveridge and will work closely alongside Chris St John within the nine strong UK equities team, which operates across the market cap spectrum.
