Fund manager movements at Invesco Perpetual
Jennifer Lowe, 26 February 2010
Invesco Perpetual has announced a number of fund manager changes within its fixed income team.
Michael Matthews is taking over the management of the Invesco Perpetual Fixed Interest Pension Fund and will co-manage the Invesco Perpetual Global Bond Fund alongside Stuart Edwards.
Edwards will also now manage Invesco Perpetual’s Money Fund, the Invesco Global Bond fund and the Invesco Sterling Reserve fund. The funds were previously managed by Paul Causer and Paul Read.
These changes will come into effect on 31 March 2010 and the funds will see no change to their remit or active management style.
Causer, co-head of Fixed Income said, ‘We have always worked together closely as a team and Michael and Stuart have been integral to the successful management of our funds. Paul Read and I see this move as a natural and logical progression for individuals of their calibre and experience and have complete confidence that the interests of investors continue in excellent hands.’
