Aegon launches income share class for UK Equity Fund
Rob Langston, 31 August 2010
Aegon Asset Management has launched an income share class on its retail UK Equity Fund, following demand from two major clients.
An income share class had previously only been available to institutional investors.
A spokesman said the income share class offered tax advantages for investors, and for charities in particular.
The firm will not be actively promoting the share class but it will be made available to investors who request it.
The launch echoes a recent move by Fidelity International, which launched an income share class for its European Fund managed by Sam Morse, in July.
