Structured range in development at Barclays

Barclays Wealth is planning to launch a new range of structured products in the coming weeks, What Investment has learnt.
The new products will be marketed under a Global Markets banner and are expected to launch sometime this month.
The structured product specialist has been in consultation with independent financial advisers over the launch since the beginning of the year.
Barclays Wealth has also pencilled in the launch of Wealth Protected Global Markets fund for October.
The specialist currently offers a range of structured plans to investors including Regular Income Bond, Defined Returns Plan Annual Kick-Out and Emerging Markets Optimiser products.
A spokesman for Barclays Wealth said it was unable to talk about the specific details surrounding the launch of the Global Markets product.
