Artemis has poached LV= Asset Management (LVAM) head of European equities Mark Page as it prepares to launch the Artemis European Opportunities Fund.

Page will be joined by LVAM European fund manager Lauren Millet when the pair take up their new roles in September, both of whom will be responsible for managing the new fund.

The UCITS III fund - which is awaiting Financial Services Authority approval -  has been described as an 'unconstrained, long-only vehicle'.

The pair will also manage focused European (ex UK) equity mandates for the boutique's retail and institutional clients.
