Schroders adds to European team with Goldman hire

Schroders has named former Goldman Sachs senior investor Nicholette MacDonald-Brown as a fund manager on its European equities team.
MacDonald-Brown - who spent 11 years at Goldman Sachs - will report to Schroders head of European equities Rory Bateman.
The new recruit was was a senior investor for three years on the European portfolio at Goldman Sachs Investment Partners.
She was also lead manager of UK Small Cap between 2005 and 2008 and co-head of European and International Small Cap between 2007 and 2008.

Rory Bateman said, 'We look forward to Nicholette joining at an exciting growth stage for the European equities team.
'Her experience as a European fund manager as well as her skills in fundamental analysis within the hedge fund space will further strengthen and broaden our existing capabilities.
'We are seeing strong performance across our product range and I am confident that Nicholette will be a huge asset to the team.'
