Artemis add manager to Global Select team
Rob Langston, 30 August 2011
Artemis Investment Management has appointed Rosanna Burcheri as a manageer on its global select team, joining Simon Edelsten and Alex Illingworth.
Together the managers will manage the recently launched Artemis Global Select fund.
Burcheri, who begins at Artemis in October, will join from FrontPoint Management (UK), where she was a partner and pan-European fund manager.
Prior to joining FrontPoint, Burcheri had worked in a number of fund management roles during stints at Paribas Asset Management, Shell pension fund and M&G.
Mark Tyndall, senior partner at Artemis, said, 'Rosanna’s appointment, our sixth to the investment team this year, continues our strategy of growth and diversification.
'I am sure that her contribution will see our new Global Select franchise prosper over the years ahead.'
