Former Gartmore duo Leigh Himsworth and Dan Roberts have resurfaced at city-based asset management company Eden financial.

Himsworth - who previoulsy managed the Gartmore UK Alpha and UK Growth funds will manage the CF Eden UK Select Opportunities fund.

A global equity income fund will be launched for Roberts - who the Gartmore UK Equity Income Fund - later this year.

The recruitment of Himsworth and Roberts was made by Ed Rosengarten, the former M&G chief executive of equities who joined Eden as head of asset management earlier this year.

Rosengarten had been tasked with spearheading Eden's development in the asset management sector and developing its private client busines.
