City Index confirms finance chief
Spread betting broker City Index has confirmed a new chief financial officer (CFO).
The company which also offers Contracts For Differences (and margined foreign exchange trading has appointed Nigel Rose as CFO from Rank Gaming Group, followings its acquisition of Blue Square.
Rose was finance director at Rank for over nine years and previously held senior positions in telecoms, media and broking.
Martin Belsham, chief executive officer at City Index said that Rose would play a pivotal rose in formulating and delivering the company’s strategic objectives.
He explained, ‘Having spent nearly ten very successful years with Blue Square and Rank Gaming, we are confident that he will bring significant value to our management team and contribute greatly to our business at what is an exciting time for the company.’
Rose said that he was excited to be joining one of the most successful and ‘technologically innovative’ retail trading service providers in the world.
He added, ‘[This is] a fantastic opportunity I simply could not turn down. City Index is an industry leader and I'm delighted to be part of the team.’
