Since I began writing this column, back in November of 2009, there has been very little positive news to be had when it comes to the pensions industry.

I’m either moaning about the lack of clarity among younger investors, the terrible returns delivered by big name pension funds or the ever-fluctuating annuity rates – ultimately providing no comfort what-so-ever for those that are saving, or indeed already in, retirement.
