Newcastle BS launches fixed-rate bond
Newcastle Building Society has announced the launch of its Two-year Fixed-Rate Postal Bond with a rate of up to 4.50 per cent Gross/AER.
The Society’s latest bond will be available for those looking to invest between £5,000 and £50,000 with the option to receive interest annually at 4.50 per cent Gross/AER or at a monthly rate of 4.25 per cent Gross/AER.
The account is operated exclusively by post and allows further deposits while it is an open issue, but there is no access until maturity.
