What Investment reader awards 2008

18 March 2008

Once again it is time to ask What Investment readers to vote for the winners of the 2008 What Investment Readers Awards. You will find a voting form inside this issue of What Investment, to be completed and returned to us by 9 May 2008.

A unique opportunity
The What Investment Readership Awards are a unique opportunity for What Investment readers to tell us which providers of financial products and services they rate most highly. The 12 categories are set out below, with a brief outline of the type of product or service they cover.

The rest is up to you. We don’t give a steer to our readers other than setting out a broad definition of each category. There are no pre-selected shortlists. We want to hear from you, the readers of What Investment, which companies you think deserve to be recognised as outstanding in their respective fields.

It is this approach that sets the What Investment Readership Awards apart. Because they represent the genuine views of real investors, these are awards that the nominated companies really want to win.

This year’s awards will be presented at a ceremony to be held at The Gibson Hall in the City of London on 3 July, as part of the celebrations to mark the 25th anniversary of What Investment.

Have your say
Of course, a key element of the process is your votes. We have tried to cover all of the main types of investment product or service in our award categories, but it is not a requirement for readers to vote in every category. What we need from you, is your opinion as to who has delivered top quality service or performance in each of the categories of which you have relevant experience.

Returns are, of course, important, but these award are not simply about performance. We are also looking for those companies that have above average levels of service, or whose product range and flexibility mark them out as being particularly worthy of distinction.

Extra Rewards
As an extra thank you for participating in the vote, every reader who responds will be entered in a prize draw to win a share of £500 worth of Marks & Spencer vouchers. The winner will receive £100 in vouchers, two runners-up £50 worth each and there are 30 other prizes of £10 vouchers.

So get voting and let us know who you think most deserves the accolades in the What Investment Readership Awards 2008.
