Afren - Interim results
Afren is one of the smaller exploration companies in the oil sector, with assets in countries ranging from the Gabon, Nigeria, Ghana and Angola to the Ivory Coast. Oil reserves are listed at 52 billion barrels with 219 trillion cubic feet of gas reserves. The oil sector is currently experiencing high levels of takeover activity, we are not expecting Afren to be a target yet, but it could be something that will attract interest in the future.
BUY.
Bunzl - Interim results
Bunzl has made several acquisitions during the first half of 2010, and this is how they expect to maintain current growth levels. Not the most prolific of performers this year but it is steady. The yield is minimal at just over 3% and we cannot find many reasons to buy this stock at the moment.
HOLD.
