For a hundred and twenty years the Aylesbury Literary Club has stood in the bustle of the busy town.

Its aim has always been to provide a quiet oasis for members, promoting social intercourse with refreshments and an important link with the business community.

The club is based in the Literary Institute building, which is listed and requires regular upkeep. For this reason, club members formed the Literati Investment Club in 2009 as a fun way to raise funds for the building.
