Mayfair-based bespoke bookies Fitzdares is to become the latest bookmaker to enter the financial spreadbetting market.

The London-based bookmaker has penned a deal with spreadbetting specialist Worldspreads Group (WSPR.L) for the joint venture.

Balthazar Fabricius, chief executive officer of Fitzdares, said the new service would be in keeping with the company’s values and exclusive style.

He added, ‘Our hallmarks are exclusivity and competitiveness. Fitzdares members enjoy a personal phone number and a personal manager.

‘We are extending that level of service from the track to the markets, in a one stop betting environment where they can enjoy the best odds whether at Cheltenham or on the implosion of the euro, without having to switch firm or risk an inferior offer.’

Conor Foley, chief executive officer of WorldSpreads added that the deal was about extended the current Fitzdares’ proposition into financial markets.

He said, ‘By bringing the Square Mile to Mayfair, we’re widening the appeal and accessibility of City markets to those who prefer to do their betting in style, which is what Fitzdares is all about. ‘

Fitzdares members can now bet on 3000 markets, 24 hrs a day, in addition to the existing fixed odds and sports spread betting service.
